Dermal Filler
We are all on this inevitavle ageing journey. But what steps can we take to delay the signs of ageing from both above and below the surface of the skin regardless of age.
What is a Dermal Filler
Intrinsic ageing is inevitable. This is effected by genetics, hormonal changes and other physiological changes such as reduction of elastin and collagen in our skin. These changes can leave our skin dry, pale, smooth, thin, pigmentation, wrinkled and move laxity due to body movement and loss of elasticity.

Extrinsic ageing is related to our enviromental factors which will all have a greater impact on our appearance. UV-radiation, smoking, alcohol, stress, pollution and lifestyle habits. Causing our skin deep wrinkles, freckles, pigmentation, thinner or thicker skin.

What causes the skin to age?

Anti-Aging skin care tips
Counteracting intrinsic & extrinsic factors
-
Use SPF 30+ daily to prevent skin damage and premature ageing, wrinkles and pigmentation.
-
Keep your body hydrated. Dehydration can lead to dry and sallow skin!
-
Ideally cleanse your skin twice a day. But if you cant manage twice always go to bed with a clean face. Cleansing and washing your face in gentle cirlces helps removes dead skin cells, enviromental exposures make up and products which will all clog our pores.
-
Moisturise your face twice a day. Keeping your skin hydrated fights dryness and improves skin texture and tone.
-
Sleep well and be rested. This is a time our body restores, renews and rebalances the skin. Lack of sleep causes dark circles, tired puffy eyes which make the skin look older.
